Educational Laws on Teaching Art

The Federal Constitution '88, LDB9394/96, the PNE and the BNCC, are the main laws that govern the Teaching of Art and guarantee that it is mandatory.

However, when the BNCC was launched for Early Childhood Education, Elementary School and High School, many considered that it had withdrawn the obligation of the discipline of Art. What has changed is the curricular structure and layout of Brazilian education, as this is the legal function of the BNCC.
